OFFICIAL WORD ON DOMINIC MALLARY AND ANDREW WK.

I’m sure most people who knew Dom, and a lot of people who didn’t, have caught wind of the motions being made to have Andrew WK be present for Dom’s services, this week, as part of his final wishes. From what we understand, this is an effort on Dom’s part, to keep people in high spirits, and to keep peoples mind on the happier sides of life. The following are statements from Andrew WK’s manager, Pete Galli and then from Dom’s friend Pat, his girlfriend Angela, and Last lights. Please read both of them and have respect for the wishes of the family and friends of Dom, whom, lets keep in mind, just lost someone very close to them. WMF would like to take this opportunity to thank Andrew and Pete for taking time to do this.

My name is Pete Galli and I manage Andrew W.K.

Andrew and I would like to express our deepest condolences for everyone’s
loss. Andrew and I are very moved by all of your emails. Andrew was
traveling last night, so we apologize for the delay.

Andrew has cleared his schedule on Thursday to make the trip to Central
Massachusetts.

For organizational purposes, I would like to communicate with one person to
organize Andrew’s trip. Please forward me a main contact’s email address
and phone number. I would like to have a conversation later today with the
main contact.

I would also like to express that Andrew may or may not be comfortable with
certain aspects of performing at the service. We would like to discuss
Andrew’s participation prior to his arrival. Andrew has the utmost respect
for the families, friends and loved ones of Dominic and would like to avoid
anything that we feel could possibly be inappropriate.

Hi friends,
First of all we would all like to thank each person who emailed Andrew WK and asked him to be a part of the services for Dom.

We just wanted to inform everyone that Andrew WK MAY be making an appearance at the funeral, only out of respect for Dom.

It is however, NOT going to be any sort of party OR show. We are asking everyone coming to be there for Dom and not for the fact that Andrew WK will be there. We want this to be as respectful as possible and we DO NOT want people coming just because Andrew WK will be there.

Please be as respectful as possible to Dom and his family at this time.

Andrew WK has proven time and time again how legit of a human he is. This takes the cake for sure.

My heart goes out to everyone who was close to Dom.

This act of respect and kindness, on AWK’s part will make this whole tragedy a tad more bearable.
